Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information this site processes when you visit the Shadowrocket Official Guide, why it is processed, and what controls are available in your browser.
1. Scope and limits of data processing
This site is the Shadowrocket Official Guide. It provides static pages with guidance on verifying the genuine app, purchasing it, getting started, and troubleshooting. This policy applies to this website only; it does not replace the privacy disclosures for the Shadowrocket app or Apple services.
This site has no account registration, email signup, or file-upload forms, and does not ask visitors to submit their name, phone number, or payment information. You do not need to provide an existing subscription, server address, password, or configuration to read the guides. Do not include this information in URL query parameters on this site.
This site does not provide node services or offer, sell, or recommend nodes or subscriptions. A one-time purchase of the app is not a service plan; the usage guides assume you already have your own subscription or server details.
2. Access logs and analytics
When your browser requests a page, the infrastructure hosting this site receives information needed to deliver it. This may include your IP address, request time, page path, response status, browser identifier, and referring page. These records are used to deliver pages, investigate errors, and maintain site security; they do not mean that your visit is completely anonymous.
This site uses analytics to understand page readership, traffic sources, device categories, and use of key links. This helps identify broken links and improve content organization and the mobile experience. The app acquisition page also records a link-click event when you choose the App Store button. This event does not confirm a purchase or include Apple payment information.
How long technical logs and analytics data are retained depends on the actual deployment configuration. This page does not promise a fixed retention period that has not been verified. Analytics do not require access to in-app traffic, connection logs, or subscription details.
3. Cookies and local storage
You do not need a login cookie to navigate the site or read its content. Whether analytics use cookies or other browser identifiers depends on the current deployment configuration and what your browser actually records; a static website does not necessarily mean that your browser stores nothing.
Language switching uses page links, and section navigation can use a URL hash; neither requires personal information to be stored persistently. Your browser cache may retain pages, fonts, and images to speed up future loads. Check cached resources separately from storage used for analytics identification.
You can view, restrict, and clear cookies, local storage, and cached data in your browser’s site data or privacy settings. Clearing them may cause resources to load again and may change analytics identification, but the page content remains directly accessible. Restricting browser storage does not prevent the server from receiving the request information needed to deliver a page.
4. External App Store links
The App Store product page is the only place to get Shadowrocket: App Store product page. Apple operates that page. Once you open it, account sign-in, device compatibility checks, purchases, payments, and restoring previous purchases are handled by Apple services and are subject to Apple’s applicable terms and privacy policy.
This site does not receive Apple Account passwords, bank card details, payment receipts, or complete purchase records. When your browser opens an external page, it may share referral information according to the rules of your browser and the destination service. Clicks recorded by this site and transaction records held by Apple are separate processing activities.
5. Policy updates and finding answers
This page will be revised if the site’s data practices, analytics purposes, or features change, and the last-updated month at the top will be adjusted. You can find the current policy through the privacy link in the footer. This policy covers this website only and does not make a blanket commitment on behalf of the app or Apple services.
To determine whether a prompt comes from a webpage, the app, or the operating system, first check Frequently Asked Questions and the Getting Started guide, then compare where the prompt appears. These pages provide information; they are not forms for collecting personal data. For Apple Account or purchase issues, use the support options provided within the relevant Apple service.
